[personal profile] fairorianaand tammylc.  I find it interesting.  In many ways, growing up, I was quite aware that we did not have a bunch of money and that we didn't have anything we wanted.  On the other hand, I can bold quite a few of these.

Heh, I love the last one. We heated with wood, which my dad cut all summer long, which we kids stacked all during the fall. And stacked, and stacked, and stacked . . .

So, minimum wages through the 70's and 80's x 4 kids and 2 adults x a couple of hundred hours of labor . . . =
