I really should do an actual post, since all I'm posting is memes again. In a bit, maybe, since I'm bored enough to be surfing my friends of friends page. Picked this one up from mplsfish; it's actually a bit thoroughly accurate, for me at least.

An actual post about my life!

Or what passes for it these days. :) Life's been kind of crazy lately. The AnimeIowa budget is mostly done (I think that's one of my least favorite parts about being an exec/concom/running the dang thing). The people who handle the arrangements for the dealer room continue to be less than helpful. Grrrr.

I still really like my job. My boss is absolutely great to work with -- so long as I get my stuff done, she doesn't much care. She's given me a LOT of responsibility, but with the caveat to tell her as soon as I feel like I can't take on any more. I need to figure out a way to do a newsletter this month. This should be fun -- especially since I think I'm going to have to do it in Word. At least one of the other AOAs has already put together a template for hers, and sent it to me. I think the worst part is collecting cute quotes for it. This *so* makes me cringe. One of the agents I really like is resigning -- I can see why he's doing it, but I'm going to miss him. He's always helpful and positive, which is a blessing around here sometimes!

Let's see, this week -- it's been pretty low-key. Sunday the weather was awful, so I made bread. I have no clue what I did Monday. On Tuesday, lthomas987 and I went out for cheap spaghetti at the great little Italian place near us. Then it was off to Walmart for pots and potting soil, in an attempt to rescue the poor plants LT bought me for our anniversary. I think she had a brief moment of forgetting that I can kill any houseplant. It only took me 3 months to kill a philodendron! Then, we watched Bulletproof Monk and got some knitting in. I finished the knitting on my sister-in-law's Christmas poncho. Now there's just the weaving in and sewing. Wednesday, once I got done with work, it was off to vanaabegra's for some social time, and further movie education. I've now seen Office Space and many, many jokes and mannerisms make much more sense now. :) It was a very good evening. Last night I got home from work late, and it was a bit of a rush to get dinner and everything ready before it was time for some City of Heroes. :) vanaabegra and a bunch of his friends generously invited me to join their SuperGroup, and we play every Thursday night. Much fun and cathartic smacking!
